Miloš Krasić (Serbian Cyrillic: Милош Красић; born 1 November 1984) is a former professional footballer from Serbia. He played as a winger, which means he played mostly on the sides of the field. Miloš Krasić was part of the Serbia national team and played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. At one point, a famous football magazine called him one of the top 100 players in the world!

Early Football Days
Miloš Krasić was born on 1 November 1984 in a place called Titova Mitrovica, in what was then Yugoslavia. His parents were Veljko and Zorica. He started playing football with his local team, FK Rudar. When he was just 13 years old, a bigger club named FK Vojvodina noticed his talent. He then moved to Novi Sad and played for Vojvodina for about four and a half years. During this time, he became even better and even became the team captain.
Club Career Highlights
Playing for CSKA Moscow

After playing for Vojvodina, Miloš Krasić moved to Russia to play for CSKA Moscow in 2004. He quickly became an important player for them. He helped his team win the UEFA Cup in 2005. This was a big European trophy! He also helped CSKA Moscow win the Russian Premier League twice, the Russian Cup four times, and the Russian Super Cup three times. He played 150 games for them, scoring 26 goals.
Time at Juventus
In the summer of 2010, Miloš Krasić moved to Italy to play for the famous club Juventus. Juventus paid about €15 million for him. He got the number 27 shirt. In his first game at home for Juventus, he helped his team score a goal and created many chances. The game ended in a 3–3 draw.
In his second away game, he helped Juventus win 4–0 by setting up two goals. Krasić scored his first goals for Juventus on 26 September 2010, when he scored three goals in one game (a hat-trick) against Cagliari! He also scored his first European goal for Juventus in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. He scored some amazing goals for Juventus, helping them win many matches.
However, in the 2011–12 season, a new coach named Antonio Conte took over. Krasić didn't play as much under the new coach. Even though he only played 9 games that season, Juventus won the Serie A league title, so he became an Italian league champion!
Moving to Fenerbahçe

On 3 August 2012, Miloš Krasić moved to Turkey to play for Fenerbahçe. He signed a four-year contract. He played his first game for Fenerbahçe on 12 August 2012 against Galatasaray. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4–0 win in the Turkish Cup.
Loan to Bastia
In 2013, Krasić was loaned to a French team called Bastia for one season. He scored a great goal in a 2–0 win against Evian.
Back to Fenerbahçe
After his loan, Krasić returned to Fenerbahçe. But he found it hard to get a regular spot in the main team. He even played for the club's reserve team for a while.
Playing for Lechia Gdańsk
On 30 August 2015, Miloš Krasić moved to Poland to play for Lechia Gdańsk. He played for the club for three seasons. He played his first game for Lechia Gdańsk in a match against Korona Kielce.
International Career
Miloš Krasić was a very important player for the Serbia and Montenegro under-21 team. He played in two European Under-21 Championships. He was part of the team that finished second in the 2004 European U-21 Championship. He also played for Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Later, in 2006, he played his first game for the senior Serbia national team. He was a key player for Serbia in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification. He scored important goals against Lithuania and Austria. He also helped set up three goals against Romania, which helped Serbia qualify for the World Cup in South Africa!
In June 2010, he was chosen to be in Serbia's squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He played in all three group stage matches there. Overall, he played 46 games for his country and scored 3 goals. His last international game was a friendly match against Honduras in November 2011.
How He Played
Miloš Krasić was known as a right-sided winger. This means he played mostly on the right side of the field, close to the sideline. He was famous for his strong dribbling skills, his high energy during games, and his amazing speed.
When he played for Juventus, some people compared him to a famous former Juventus player named Pavel Nedvěd. This was because they looked a bit similar, played in a similar position, worked very hard on the field, and both came from Eastern Europe. UEFA's Champions magazine even called him one of the best examples of a "traditional winger." They said these wingers like to run down the sides of the field, get close to the goal line, and then cross the ball into the box for their teammates.
Personal Life
Football runs in Miloš Krasić's family! His older brother is named Bojan Krasić, and his cousin is Marko Krasić. Both of them also play football.
