Mindaugas Žukauskas (born on August 24, 1975) is a famous retired professional basketball player from Lithuania. He was born in Šiauliai, which was part of the Soviet Union at the time. Mindaugas played as a small forward and stood at 2.01 meters (6 feet 7 inches) tall. He was also a captain of the Lithuanian national basketball team. Today, he works as a manager for BC Šiauliai, one of his former teams.

Playing for Top Teams

Mindaugas started his professional career in 1995 with BC Šiauliai in Lithuania. After two years, he moved to BC Žalgiris, another strong Lithuanian team. With Žalgiris, he won several important titles.

Later, he played for KK Union Olimpija in Slovenia. He then spent many years in Italy, playing for Montepaschi Siena and Scavolini Pesaro. He returned to BC Šiauliai to finish his career in 2012.

National Team Success

Mindaugas was a key player for the Lithuania men's national basketball team. He helped his country win a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. This was a huge achievement for Lithuania.
