Early Life and Education

Miray Akay, whose full name is Myroslava Kosteva Akay, was born on July 17, 2000, in Ukraine. Her father is Turkish, and her mother is Ukrainian. She has an older sister and a younger brother.

Miray went to Istanbul Bahçelievler Ali Haydar School for her primary and secondary education. She later studied theatre at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School. Miray started acting very young, appearing in commercials and music videos when she was just three years old.

Acting Career

Miray Akay began her acting journey at a young age. Her first TV role was in the series Bitmeyen Şarkı. Around the same time, she also appeared in the comedy show Türk malı.

In 2012, Miray joined the cast of Çıplak Gerçek, playing the character Selin. That same year, she acted in the historical movie Eve Dönüş: Sarıkamış 1915 as Nihan. In 2013, she played Duru Halaskar in the series 20 Dakika. She also worked on two films: Balık, where she played Deniz, and Halam Geldi, where she was Reyhan.

Miray also appeared in the historical film Kelebeğin Rüyası in 2013. The next year, she played Gülten in the series Benim Adım Gültepe. In 2015, she became well-known for her role as Peri Yılmaz in the youth series Güneşin Kızları. She starred alongside actresses like Burcu Özberk and Hande Erçel.

In 2017, Miray played Nazlı in the series Dayan Yüregim. In 2018, she took on the role of Zeynep in Bizim Hikaye, which was shown on FOX. She also appeared in the series Servet that year. More recently, she starred as Pembe in the historical series Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs, which tells a story from 1963. From 2022 to 2023, she played Alçiçek Hatun in Kuruluş Osman, broadcast on ATV.
