Miroslav "Miro" Mentel, born on December 2, 1962, in Šurany, is a famous Slovak football player who used to be a goalkeeper. Today, he helps train other goalkeepers for the Slovakia national football team and also for the FK Senica club.
Mentel played as a goalkeeper for several football clubs during his career. He played for teams like FK Inter Bratislava, Dukla Banská Bystrica, and DAC Dunajská Streda in the top league of Czechoslovakia. After Czechoslovakia split, he also played for FC Kaučuk Opava in the Czech league.
