Tarik Mishlawi (born September 25, 1996) is an American hip-hop artist. He is known by his stage name, Mishlawi. Many people call him a "TransAtlantic talent." He is also seen as a rising star in Portuguese hip hop.
Early Life and School
Tarik Mishlawi was born in the United States. This was on September 25, 1996. When he was young, he moved to Cascais, Portugal. Cascais is a beautiful town on the Portuguese Riviera.
He went to the Carlucci American International School of Lisbon. He finished high school there. After that, he studied at American University in Washington, DC. He spent two years there. Later, he attended the Point Blank Music School in London. This helped him learn more about music.
Music Career
Mishlawi began his music journey on YouTube. He shared his songs and videos online. Soon, another famous singer, Richie Campbell, discovered him. This was a big moment for Mishlawi.
He then signed with Bridgetown Records. Later, he also joined Universal Music and Island Records. These are big music companies. Mishlawi quickly became a popular performer. He has played at many major music festivals in Portugal. One of these is the well-known MEO Sudoeste festival.
