Mission Creek is a small stream, about 9 miles (14 km) long, in Oregon, USA. It flows through Marion County. This creek is a "tributary," which means it's a smaller stream that flows into a larger one. Mission Creek flows into Champoeg Creek.
The creek starts in an area called French Prairie, near the town of St. Paul. It then flows generally northeast. After joining Champoeg Creek, the combined water travels a short distance, less than 1 mile (1.6 km). Finally, it flows into the Willamette River. The Willamette River is a much larger river that eventually joins the Columbia River.

The Creek's Journey
Mission Creek begins its journey in the French Prairie area, southwest of St. Paul. From there, it flows towards the northeast.
Passing Under Roads
As it travels, the creek goes under a few roads. First, it passes under River Road Northeast. Then, it flows under Oregon Route 219, just east of St. Paul.
Through Reservoirs and Ponds
The creek also flows through some water bodies. It enters and then exits the Mission Creek Reservoir. After that, it goes under Buyserie Road and enters Zorn Pond.
Reaching Champoeg
After leaving Zorn Pond, Mission Creek flows under McKay Road. It then passes through the area where the ghost town of Champoeg used to be. A ghost town is a place where people used to live, but now it's mostly empty.
Finally, the creek flows under Champoeg Road. It then joins Champoeg Creek inside the Champoeg State Heritage Area. This meeting point is very close to where Champoeg Creek itself flows into the Willamette River.
Joining Larger Rivers
Champoeg Creek joins the Willamette River about 45 miles (72 km) from where the Willamette River meets the Columbia River. Mission Creek does not have any smaller streams that flow into it.
