He was known as an "All-Around Cowboy" in 1951 and 1955. This means he was amazing at many different rodeo events. Casey was also a "Saddle Bronc Champ" multiple times. He won this title in 1949, and then from 1951 to 1954, and again in 1959. He was also a "Bareback Champ" in 1951. Casey Tibbs passed away on January 28, 1990.
