Shazrina binti Azman, better known as Mizz Nina, was born on July 1, 1980. She is a talented Malaysian fashion designer and a speaker who inspires others. Mizz Nina is also a television personality and helps people in need.

She co-founded Dopstv, which is a TV channel about Islamic lifestyle. Mizz Nina first became famous as a musician, singer, rapper, and dancer. Later, she decided to stop singing to focus on her fashion work and helping others. In 2016, she helped start DOPS (Deen of Peace Studios) TV Sdn Bhd. This channel has created many TV shows and talk shows. Mizz Nina also works with groups that help people who are not as lucky. These groups include Cinta Syria Malaysia and Feeding The Needy.

Early Life and Family

Mizz Nina is the daughter of Azman Hashim. Her father is the Chairman of the AmBank Group.

Music Career

Mizz Nina had a successful career in music before she retired. She was known for her hip-hop and R&B songs.

Starting with Teh Tarik Crew (1999–2007)

In 1999, Mizz Nina helped create a hip-hop group called Teh Tarik Crew (TTC). Her music career really took off with this group. They released an album called How’s The Level? in 2002. This album earned them two nominations at the AIM Awards.

By 2004, TTC's second album, What’s Next?, also received two AIM nominations. The group later broke up in 2007. The members then decided to start their own solo music careers.

Becoming a Solo Artist (2007–2013)

In July 2010, Mizz Nina released her first solo album, What You Waiting For. She worked with international singers on this album. These included Theo Martins, Colby O' Donis, and Planet Asia. She even traveled to Sri Lanka and India to promote her song "What You Waiting For".

In February 2012, she released a new song called "With You". Its lyric video quickly gained many views on YouTube. A few months later, her second solo album, Takeover, came out. In September 2012, she released "Summer Burning". This song was produced by DJ Poet Name Life.

Mizz Nina also teamed up with American rapper Flo Rida on a song called "Takeover". The music video for this song was filmed in Miami. It became very popular on YouTube, getting over 1.5 million views.

In February 2013, Mizz Nina released "Around The World". This song featured the Korean-American star, Jay Park. The music video for "Around The World" was filmed in Korea in December 2012. She released it on her official YouTube channel in March 2013.

Hosting and Performances

While promoting her music in the US in 2012, Mizz Nina got to host The MTV Iggy Show. This show was live from Times Square, NYC. She introduced new artists from around the world. Mizz Nina said this was an experience she would never forget.

She was invited to perform at many big events. These included MTV World Stage 2012 and Twin Towers Alive in 2011 and 2013. On December 1, 2011, she was an opening act for Pitbull Live In Malaysia. She also performed in Melbourne, Australia, in October 2012. In May 2013, she held her first concert in Kuala Lumpur.

Marriage and Retirement from Singing (2011–2022)

Mizz Nina married Noh Salleh on July 1, 2011. He is the lead singer of the band Hujan. Their wedding was held on her birthday. In 2013, she went on the Hajj pilgrimage with her husband.

After returning, Mizz Nina changed her public image to be more modest. This surprised many people. During this time, she announced she would stop singing. She wanted to focus on her production work, fashion, and her Muslim faith. Mizz Nina and Noh Salleh announced their divorce in August 2022.

After retiring from singing, Mizz Nina also became a vocal coach. She was seen teaching students at the Singing Shop Studio.

Mizz Nina is a fashion designer for her own clothing brands. These brands are called Mizz Demeanor and Madeena Clothing. In 2014, her company MaDeena organized a World Hijab Day workshop. This event took place on February 1 at Amcorp Mall.

Mizz Nina also owns a production company called Big Fish Entertainment. Through this company, she produced a children's TV show. The show was called The Cici & Caca Show and had 13 episodes.
