Mohamed Ould Bilal (Arabic: محمد ولد بلال) is a politician from Mauritania. He was born on December 10, 1963. From August 6, 2020, to August 2, 2024, he served as the Prime Minister of Mauritania. The Prime Minister is a very important leader who helps the country's president manage the government.

Before becoming Prime Minister, Mohamed Ould Bilal worked in a different important role. He was in charge of Mauritania's national water agency. This agency makes sure people have access to clean water.
Becoming Prime Minister
In August 2020, there was a change in the government of Mauritania. The previous Prime Minister, Ismail Ould Bedde Ould Cheikh Sidiya, and his team stepped down.
On August 6, 2020, the President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, chose Mohamed Ould Bilal to be the new Prime Minister. President Ghazouani then asked him to create a new government to lead the country.
