The Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (often called MAJU) is a private university in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It was started in 1998.
MAJU offers many different study programs. These include courses for students who are just starting college (undergraduate) and those who want to study more after college (post-graduate). The university focuses a lot on subjects like business management, applied sciences, engineering, and computer science.

MAJU is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. This group connects universities from many different countries around the world.
Campuses and Their History
Mohammad Ali Jinnah University used to have another campus in Islamabad. However, in 2015, this campus became its own separate university. It is now called the Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST).
Even though CUST is now separate, it is still part of the MAJU Trust. This means they share a common background and goals.
How MAJU Started
The government of Sindh officially approved Mohammad Ali Jinnah University in 1998. This approval is called a charter. The Islamabad campus also received special permission to start. This permission came from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and later from the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
