Early Life and Education
Mohammad Farid came from a family that owned land. His father managed royal lands for the government. Farid went to several schools, including the Khalil Agha School and the Ecole des Freres. He also studied at the School of Administration. After his studies, he worked as a lawyer for the Egyptian government. He also worked for the office of the attorney general.
Leading the Egyptian National Party
Farid was a close friend and supporter of Mustafa Kamil. Kamil was the person who started the Egyptian National Party. This party worked for Egypt's independence. When Mustafa Kamil sadly passed away in 1908, Mohammad Farid was chosen to lead the party.
