The Mondoñedo Cathedral is a very old and beautiful church in the town of Mondoñedo, which is in the Galicia region of Spain. It is a Roman Catholic cathedral, meaning it is the main church for a bishop.
This cathedral shows off two main building styles: Romanesque and Gothic. Most of it was built a long, long time ago, between the years 1219 and 1243. Later, in the 1700s, the front of the building was changed, and its towers were added.
