Starting as a Model and Beauty Queen
Monika Lewczuk began her career as a model. She entered several beauty contests. In 2009, she took part in Miss Polski 2009 and Miss Globe International. Her biggest win was in 2011 when she became Miss Supranational. This is a big international beauty contest.
Becoming a Pop Star (2014–Present)
In 2014, Monika decided to try singing. She joined the fifth season of The Voice of Poland. She was part of Team Marek Piekarczyk. Even though she didn't win, this show helped her get noticed. Soon after, she signed with Universal Music, a major record label.
Her first song, "#Tam tam", came out in July 2015. It was very popular and earned a gold certification. This means it sold a lot of copies! Later that year, her second song, "Zabiorę cię stąd", also did well on the Polish music charts.
Monika's first album, called #1, was released in June 2016. It also went gold in Poland. Monika helped write many of the songs on this album with other artists like Sarsa. Around the same time, her song "Ty i Ja" became a huge hit. It reached number three on the Polish charts and went triple platinum. This means it sold even more copies than a gold record!
In 2016, Monika was nominated for "Best Radio Debut" at the Eska Music Awards. She also worked with a Spanish singer named Álvaro Soler. They recorded a song together called "Libre". This song became number one in Poland.
