Montmorin was once a small commune in the Hautes-Alpes department of France. A commune is like a small town or village with its own local government. On July 1, 2017, Montmorin joined with two other communes, Bruis and Sainte-Marie. Now, all three are part of a larger commune called Valdoule. This means they work together as one bigger community.
