The Montréal Mission is a professional ringette team. They play in the National Ringette League (NRL). This league is the top ringette league in Canada. The team was started in 2004.
The Mission team gets its players from the Montréal area in Québec. They play their home games at Centre Étienne Desmarteau. The Montréal Mission is one of the most successful teams from Quebec in the NRL.

Team History: The Mission's Journey
The Montréal Mission, often called "the Mission," began playing ringette in 2004. They are the most successful NRL team from Quebec. The team has a strong history in the league.
For example, they finished second in the Eastern Conference of the National Ringette League in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. In the 2008-09 season, the Mission even finished first in their conference. They were ahead of strong teams like the Cambridge Turbos from Ontario.
In 2006, a player named Anna Vanhatalo joined the team. She was an exchange student from Finland. She played for the Mission for one season. Later, a Mission goalkeeper, Claudia Jetté, went to play for Anna's team in Finland.
The National Ringette League: Teams and Conferences
The National Ringette League (NRL) is where the Montréal Mission competes. In the 2022–23 season, thirteen teams played in the league. These teams are divided into two main groups called "conferences."
The conferences are the Western Conference and the Eastern Conference. The Eastern Conference is further split into "Red" and "White" divisions.

Top Scorers: Mission's Best Players

The Montréal Mission has had some amazing players who scored many points. Points are earned when a player scores a goal or helps another player score (an assist).
In the 2009-2010 season, two Mission players were the top scorers in the entire National Ringette League. Catherine Cartier was first with 122 points. Julie Blanchette was second with 110 points. Stéphanie Séguin also did very well, placing fourth with 83 points.
The next season, 2010-11, Blanchette was the top scorer in the league with 141 points. Cartier was right behind her in second place with 132 points. These players were key to the Mission's success.
