Moonheart is an exciting urban fantasy novel written by the Canadian author Charles de Lint. In this story, a young woman who owns an antique store finds herself in a magical place called the Otherworld. She must join forces with a wizard to save not one, but two different worlds from danger. Along the way, she forms a special connection with a Welsh bard named Taliesin.

The Story of Moonheart

The adventure of Moonheart takes place in the 1980s in Ottawa, Canada. Sara Kendell and her uncle Jamie Tamson run a unique antique store. One day, they get their hands on a very strange ring.

At the same time, a wizard named Kieran Foy is looking for his missing teacher, Thomas Hengwr. Kieran is also trying to avoid a secret police group called Project Mindreach.

When Sara and Kieran meet, they accidentally end up in a magical place known as "the other world". They soon discover that Sara and her home, Tamson House, are much more special than they ever knew. Tamson House is huge, almost like a city block!

But then, an ancient evil force awakens. It threatens to destroy both the normal world and the magical other world, along with everyone in them. To stop this monster, the police, the wizards, and the people living in Tamson House must learn to work together.
