Morenci is a city in Lenawee County, Michigan. It is the southernmost city in the state. Morenci shares its southern border with the state of Ohio. In 2020, about 2,270 people lived here.

Morenci's History
Morenci was first settled in 1833. A railway line was built through Morenci in 1872. This line connected Morenci to Fayette, Ohio. The railway was no longer used after 1991.
