Morgan is found about eleven miles south of a bigger town called Lebanon, Missouri. You can find it right where two roads, Missouri Supplemental Route J and PP, meet. Another town, Conway, Missouri, is about seven miles to the west. A river called the Osage Fork flows about 1.5 miles south of Morgan. In Morgan itself, you'll find a combined grocery store and gas station, along with several houses where people live.

Morgan has a history that goes back to the late 1800s. A post office was opened in Morgan in 1896. A post office is a place where people can send and receive mail. This post office served the community for many years. It stayed open until 1975. The village was named after a man named Asa Morgan. He was a local hero who fought in the American Civil War. The Civil War was a big conflict in the United States that happened from 1861 to 1865.
