Morges is a small community located in Rose Township, within Carroll County, Ohio, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it does not have its own local government like a city or town. Morges is considered part of the larger Canton and Massillon area. Some parts of Morges get their mail through the Waynesburg post office (44688), while other parts use the Magnolia post office (44643).
History of Morges
Morges was officially planned and laid out in 1831. This was done by two people named Samuel Oswalt and John Waggoner. They set up the community along an important road. This road was built by Bezaleel Wells and connected the cities of Canton and Steubenville, Ohio.
A special building in Morges, called St. Mary's of Morges, is very important. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is recognized for its historical value and is protected.

Students who live in the Morges area attend schools within the Sandy Valley Local School District. This school district provides education for children from kindergarten all the way through high school.
