Moscow is a small community in Muscatine County, Iowa, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city does. It's also a "census-designated place" (CDP), which means the U.S. Census Bureau counts its population separately.
In 2020, about 290 people lived in Moscow. The community has its own post office, which first opened a very long time ago, on May 1, 1837. Moscow is also part of the larger Muscatine area.
