Motoko-chan no Wonder Kitchen (which means "Little Motoko's Wonder Kitchen" in Japanese) is a fun video game released in 1993 for the Super Famicom. It's a point-and-click game where you play mini-games all about cooking!

This game was quite special because it wasn't sold in stores. It was a promotional item from a company called Ajinomoto. They only made 10,000 copies. People could get the game by sending in two special seals from Ajinomoto mayonnaise products. This also entered them into a lottery contest. Each month for five months, 2,000 lucky winners received a copy of the game.

Exploring the Game

Motoko-chan no Wonder Kitchen uses real brand-name products from Japanese supermarkets. This was a clever way for the Ajinomoto company to advertise their items.

In the game, a young girl named Motoko guides players through a magical world. She teaches kids interesting facts about the history of mayonnaise and other foods. It's a great way to learn while having fun!

Fun Mini-Games

The game has several mini-games to enjoy. For example, you might play a game similar to reversi against a witch. You could also search for seven dwarves who magically turn into sausages!

The way you play the game is a bit like the popular Cooking Mama series. That game came out much later, in 2006.

Using the Super Famicom Mouse

This game also lets you use the Super Famicom Mouse. This makes it easier to point and click on things in the game, just like using a mouse on a computer.
