Mottsville is a small, unincorporated community located in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. An unincorporated community is a place where people live, but it does not have its own local government like a city or town.
Mottsville is found on the western edge of the beautiful Carson Valley. It is also part of the huge Humboldt–Toiyabe National Forest, which is a large area of forests and mountains. The community is about 3 miles (4.8 km) west-southwest of Minden. It sits right where Nevada State Route 206 and Nevada State Route 207 meet.

Mottsville's History
