Mount Marriott is a cool mountain found in British Columbia, Canada. It stands tall in the Cayoosh Range. This mountain is known for being quite dry. It is also easy to reach by following a trail.
The best time to climb Mount Marriott is in July. There are also some lakes nearby. You can even swim in these lakes during August and September.
Why is it Called Mount Marriott?
This mountain was named to remember a brave person. It honors RCAF Flying Officer Terrence James Marriott. He was a pilot who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Sadly, he died in 1943 during World War II. The mountain was named to keep his memory alive.
