Mount Pleasant is a small town in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, United States. In 2010, about 1,652 people lived there. The town's main area is where Mount Pleasant Road and North Carolina Highway 73 meet. Another road, North Carolina Highway 49, goes around the northern part of the town. It connects Charlotte to Asheboro.
