In 2010, there were 211 people living in Mount Sterling. These people lived in 88 different homes, and 63 of these were families.

History of Mount Sterling
The village of Mount Sterling was planned out in 1852. This was done by a person named William T. Sterling. He was an important figure who also served in the Wisconsin State Assembly, which is part of the state's government.
