The Story of Mr. Tall
Mr. Tall was not happy about his super long legs. He thought they were too big. One day, he met Mr. Small. Mr. Small was tiny, and he loved to swim. Mr. Tall could not swim because his legs were too long for the water.
But then, three other Mr. Men characters helped him. They showed Mr. Tall that having big body parts can actually be very useful! Mr. Tall soon realized his long legs were perfect for walking. He could get home very quickly. Meanwhile, Mr. Small took a whole year to travel the same distance!
In the 1997 Mr. Men Show, Mr. Tall's legs looked a bit different. They were thicker and wider apart than in the original book.

For the show, Mr. Tall kept his original look. However, he was given a brown hat and matching brown shoes. He was the last new Mr. Men character to speak for the first time on the show. This happened in an episode called "Travel." He has a very deep voice, almost like a soul singer. Mr. Tall speaks with a Texan accent, which is even deeper than Mr. Strong's voice.
