Story of Mrs. Pepper Pot
Mrs. Pepper Pot lives in a small village with her husband. She wears a special, magical teaspoon around her neck. Sometimes, this spoon makes her shrink! When she shrinks, she becomes as tiny as her spoon. The spoon itself does not shrink, so she has to drag it along behind her.
After a little while, she always returns to her normal size. This magical shrinking power has some cool benefits. When she is tiny, Mrs. Pepper Pot can talk to animals. She also goes on amazing adventures in the woods. She often makes new and interesting friends this way.
One of her good friends is Lily. Lily is a mysterious girl who lives alone in the forest. Mrs. Pepper Pot is also friends with a family of mice. It's very important that she keeps her shrinking secret. She cannot tell anyone or let them see her when she is small. This can sometimes be very tricky! Later in the series, her husband, Mr. Pepper Pot, finally learns her secret.
