The Municipality of Ljutomer (which is Občina Ljutomer in Slovenian) is a special area in northeastern Slovenia. It is about 40 kilometers (25 mi) east of a bigger city called Maribor.
This municipality used to be part of a region known as Styria. Now, it is part of the Mura Statistical Region. The biggest town in this area, and where the local government is located, is also called Ljutomer.
