Murad Saeed (Urdu: مراد سعید), born on August 17, 1986, is a politician from Pakistan. He served as a top minister for Communications and Postal Services from December 2018 to April 2022.
Before that, he was a Minister of State for Communications and Postal Services. He held these roles from September and October 2018 until December 2018. He was also a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, which is like a parliament, from August 2018 to January 2023. Earlier, he was a Minister of State for States and Frontier Regions for a short time in September 2018.
He was also a member of the National Assembly from June 2013 to May 2018. His time as a minister ended on April 10, 2022. This happened when a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan was successful.

Early Life and Education
Murad Saeed Khan was born on August 17, 1986. His birthplace was Kabal in the Swat area of Pakistan.
He studied Environmental Sciences at the University of Peshawar. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from there.
Political Journey
Starting in Student Politics
Murad Saeed began his political journey in student groups. He helped start the Insaf Student Federation. This group is the student part of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was the main leader of this student group for four years.
Serving in the National Assembly
Saeed was first chosen to be a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan in 2013. He ran as a candidate for the PTI party from the NA-29 Swat area.
He was elected again to the National Assembly in 2018. This time, he ran from the NA-4 (Swat-III) area. He won with 71,600 votes. He defeated Saleem Khan, who was a candidate from the Awami National Party (ANP).
Roles as a Minister
On September 11, 2018, Murad Saeed joined the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He was first made the Minister of State for States and Frontier Regions. A week later, on September 18, his job changed. He became the Minister of State for Communications. Then, on October 26, 2018, he also took on the role of Minister of State for Postal Services.
On December 17, 2018, he was promoted to a higher position. He became the Federal Minister for Communications and the Federal Minister for Postal Services. This meant he was in charge of these important government departments.
In 2022, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that Murad Saeed was the "best performing minister" in his government.
