The Musée de la Défense aérienne (which means "Air Defence Museum" in English) is an exciting aviation museum located in La Baie, Quebec. It's a fantastic place to explore and learn about military aircraft! The museum proudly displays a collection of nine different military planes and helicopters. It's one of four cool aviation museums you can visit in Quebec, along with Vintage Wings of Canada in Gatineau, the Montreal Aviation Museum in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, and the Quebec Aerospace Museum in Saint-Hubert.

A Look Back in Time
The Air Defence Museum first opened its doors in 1997. It's built right on the grounds of CFB Bagotville, which is a Canadian Forces military base. When you visit the museum, you can also take a special tour of RCAF 3 Wing. This gives you a peek into how the Canadian Air Force works! Outside the museum building, you'll find a permanent collection of amazing aircraft. Inside, there's also a special exhibit that changes regularly, so there's always something new to discover.
