Musashi Mizushima (水島 武蔵, Mizushima Musashi, born 10 September 1964) is a former Japanese football player and manager. He was born in Tokyo, Japan.
Playing Football
Musashi Mizushima was born in Tokyo on September 10, 1964. When he was 10 years old, in 1975, he moved to Brazil. There, he joined the youth team of a famous football club called São Paulo.
In 1984, Musashi signed with São Paulo's main team. After that, he played for other Brazilian clubs like São Bento, Portuguesa Desportos, and Santos.
In 1989, he returned to Japan. He joined a team called Hitachi. Later, in 1991, he moved to All Nippon Airways, which later became Yokohama Flügels.
Sadly, Musashi had injuries that made it hard for him to play many matches. He stopped playing professional football at the end of the 1992 season.
Becoming a Coach
After his playing career, Musashi Mizushima became a football manager. In 2014, he joined Fujieda MYFC as their manager. He led the club for one season.
Later, in 2019, he worked as an assistant coach for the Tajikistan national football team. This means he helped train and guide the players for their country's team.
