Mustafa Mahmoud (born December 27, 1921 – died October 31, 2009) was an important Egyptian doctor, thinker, and writer. His full name was Mustafa Kamal Mahmoud Hussein. He was born in Shibin el-Kom, Monufia province, Egypt.
He first trained as a doctor. But he later chose a career as a journalist and author. He traveled and wrote about many different topics. He wrote 89 books! These books covered subjects like science, ideas about life (philosophy), religion, and society. He also wrote plays, stories, and travel books.
Many people knew him from his popular TV show, Science and Faith
