Mustafah Jaleel Muhammad was born on October 19, 1973. His birth name was Steve Wilson. He is a former professional football player. He played in both the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL).

Mustafah Muhammad's Football Journey
Mustafah Muhammad played college football at several schools. These included California State University, Fresno, Shasta Junior College, and Chaffey Junior College.
Starting Strong in the CFL
In 1998, Muhammad joined the B.C. Lions in the CFL. He had an amazing first year. He played 17 games and led the league with 10 interceptions. An interception is when a defensive player catches a pass meant for an offensive player. Because of his great performance, he was named an all-star. He also won the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award. This award goes to the best new player in the league.
Playing in the NFL
After his success in the CFL, Muhammad moved to the NFL. He played for the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons. These were in 1999 and 2000. During his time with the Colts, he played in 24 games. One of his most memorable plays was intercepting a pass. He then ran it back 40 yards for a touchdown!
Return to the CFL
In 2002, Mustafah Muhammad returned to the CFL. He played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
