My Life Me is a fun animated TV show from France and Canada. It was created by JC Little, Cindy Filipenko, and Svetlana Chmakova. The show is about a teenage girl named Birch Small. She loves manga and anime and wants to be a comic artist. The series shows her adventures and challenges in high school. You'll see cool manga symbols like sweatdrops and speech bubbles!
The show first aired in French on Télétoon on September 19, 2010. Later, it came to the English channel Teletoon from September 5, 2011, to September 30, 2011. You can watch it on Peacock now.
What's the Show About?
In My Life Me, Birch Small and her friends Liam, Sandra, and Raffi go to a unique school. Their school makes students work together in special groups. These groups are called "Pods."
The students don't get to choose who is in their Pod. They have to learn to work together. This is true even if they are very different or have some weaknesses.
Meet the Characters
- Birch Small (French name: Béa Petit): Birch is a talented 13-year-old artist. She is a big fan of manga comics. She often draws in this style. Birch has a crush on Raffi, and she sometimes does silly things to impress him. She knows a lot about art history and famous artists.
- Liam Coll: Liam is Birch's 13-year-old cousin. He is often at Birch's house looking for fun. Liam is a bit goofy, and his actions can sometimes cause problems. He loves music and gets jealous of Raffi's popularity. Liam is also into manga and helps Birch with the stories for her comics. He often tries out new hobbies to "find himself."
- Sandra le Blanc: Sandra is a 13-year-old who loves skateboarding. She is very athletic and enjoys extreme activities. Sandra can be a bit mischievous. She sometimes tries to make others uncomfortable or embarrassed for her own fun. She often denies that she ever had a "geek phase" in the past.
- Raffi Rodriguez: Raffi is Birch's crush and is considered the coolest guy at school. He is 13 years old. Raffi often gets chosen for school events and fundraisers. He cares a lot about how he looks. He is also very nice, which is why people like him so much. It's not clear if he likes Birch back.
