Myfanwy Warhurst (born on May 29, 1974) is a well-known Australian radio host and TV star. She is famous for her work on the radio station Triple J and the fun music quiz show Spicks and Specks on ABC Television. From 2017 to 2024, she was Australia's commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest with Joel Creasey. She also co-hosts the weekly podcast Bang On. You might also know her voice from the popular Australian cartoon Bluey, where she plays Aunt Trixie and Indy's Mum.

Myf Warhurst's Early Life
Myf Warhurst was born in Portland, Victoria, in 1974. She grew up with three older brothers: Shaun, Kit, and Andre. Her brother Shaun helped her get interested in the entertainment world. Her brother Kit plays drums in a band called Rocket Science. Myf's family moved a few times when she was young, living in Donald and then Red Cliffs. Later, she studied Music and Fine Arts at Melbourne University.

Before becoming a radio and TV star, Myf Warhurst was the editor of a magazine in Melbourne called Inpress.
Radio and Podcasts
Myf started her radio career at Triple J. She first became known for her short segments on the Merrick and Rosso's Drive show in 2000. In 2001, she hosted a request show called Net 50. By 2003, she became very popular as the host of the weekday Lunch show, which included her daily segment The Trashy Lunchtime Quiz. In 2007, she joined the Breakfast Show as part of "Myf, Jay and the Doctor."
In October 2007, it was announced that Myf would leave Triple J. She then moved to Triple M Melbourne to co-host a new breakfast show with comedian Peter Helliar.
In 2020, Myf hosted a history podcast series called Our Place. She is also the co-host of a weekly podcast called Bang On with Zan Rowe. This podcast, produced by Double J, talks about music, art, life, and other interesting things. Bang On won an award for Best Host at the 2024 Australian Podcast Awards.
Television Shows
Myf Warhurst has done a lot of work on television. She hosted jtv and a special show called My Favourite Album in 2006. She was also a team captain on the popular music quiz show Spicks and Specks. She was on the show from 2005 until it ended in 2011. The show returned with special episodes in 2018 and became a full-time show again in 2021, with Myf still as a team captain.
Myf has also been a regular presenter on The Project. In June 2012, she returned to ABC1 with her own six-part series called Myf Warhurst's Nice.
From 2017 to 2022, Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey were the commentators for Australia's broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest. Myf also appeared as a guest on the quiz show Have You Been Paying Attention?.
Since 2018, she has used her voice for the animated characters Aunt Trixie and Indy's Mum in the ABC Kids TV show Bluey. In 2023, she hosted Meet the Neighbours for SBS TV. In 2024, she hosted a series on ABC TV called The Truth about Menopause. In 2025, she was a contestant on Claire Hooper's House Of Games.
Writing
In 2022, Myf Warhurst released her own book about her life, called Time of My Life.
Guest Appearances
Myf Warhurst has made guest appearances on several TV shows. She was sometimes on Rove and was a special presenter on RMITV's The Loft Live.
In January 2020, Myf took part in the sixth season of the Australian reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.
She was also featured in an episode of the Australian version of Who Do You Think You Are? in June 2022. This show explores people's family history and revealed her connection to famous Australian musician John Farnham.
In August 2022, Myf was interviewed on radio where she discussed training to become a foster parent. In October 2022, she appeared on Fran Kelly's TV show Frankly. In 2023, Myf Warhurst was the narrator in The Rocky Horror Picture Show alongside Jason Donovan.
Awards and Recognition
The TV show Spicks and Specks won the Logie for Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Program two times. Myf also won Most Spankable Female TV Personality in 2007 and 2008 at the TV Fugly Awards. Her podcast Bang On won Best Host at the 2024 Australian Podcast Awards.
