Zan Rowe is a well-known Australian radio and television presenter. She works for the ABC, which is a big media company in Australia. Zan hosts shows on the digital radio station Double J. She also has a popular podcast and TV show called Take 5.

Early Life and Education
Zan Rowe, whose full name is Susanna Rowe, grew up in the city of Melbourne, Australia.
She went to RMIT University to study. There, she focused on learning about radio and cinema.
Zan Rowe's Career in Media
Starting in Radio and Podcasts
Zan Rowe began her radio journey in 1996 at a station called SRA FM, which is now known as SYN Radio. She had a show there called Run with the Hunted.
Later, from 2002 to 2004, she moved to another radio station, 3RRR 102.7FM. On 3RRR, she hosted a show called Transit Lounge on Monday afternoons.
In 2005, Zan joined Triple J, a national youth radio station. She started by hosting the weekend lunch show. The next year, in 2006, she became the host of the Mornings show on Triple J. This show was on weekdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.
On December 4, 2017, Zan announced she would be leaving Triple J. She then moved to the digital radio network Double J. In 2018, she started hosting the Mornings show on Double J.
Her main feature on Double J is called Take 5. This segment is also a popular podcast. On Take 5, Zan talks to famous guests about five songs that are important to them. Many well-known artists have been on the show, including Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, and Peter Garrett.
Zan also started a podcast called Bang On with her friend Myf Warhurst in March 2017. This podcast was very popular and won an award. In 2024, Zan and Myf won the Best Host award for Bang On at the Australian Podcast Awards. The podcast took a break in November 2024.

Zan Rowe has also had a successful career in television. In 2009, she presented a special music show called Rage with music presenter Richard Kingsmill. This show was about the Triple J Hottest 100 of All Time.
From 2015 to 2016, Zan hosted a program for ABC iview called The Critics. This show discussed movies and TV. In 2017, she became a panelist on Screen Time, another ABC TV show that reviewed screens.
Since 2017, Zan Rowe and Charlie Pickering have hosted the New Year's Eve countdown show on the ABC. This is a big event that many people watch.
