Susanna "Zan" Rowe is a well-known Australian radio and television presenter. As of 2022, she works for the ABC. She is a host on the digital radio station Double J.

Early Life and Education

Susanna Rowe grew up in the city of Melbourne, Australia. She later became known by her nickname, "Zan."

She studied at RMIT University. There, she focused on learning about radio and cinema.

Radio and Podcasts

Zan Rowe started her radio journey in 1996 at a station called SRA FM. This station is now known as SYN Radio. She hosted a show called Run with the Hunted.

Later, from 2002 to 2004, she moved to 3RRR 102.7FM. On this station, she presented a show called Transit Lounge.

In 2005, Zan joined Triple J, a popular youth radio station. She started as the weekend lunch host. The next year, in 2006, she became the host of the Mornings show on Triple J. This show aired on weekdays.

On December 4, 2017, Zan announced she would be leaving Triple J. She moved to the digital radio network Double J. In 2018, she began hosting the Mornings show there.

Her show on Double J features a very popular segment and podcast called Take 5. In Take 5, Zan asks famous people to share five songs that mean a lot to them. Many well-known guests have been on the show. These include Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, and Peter Garrett.

Zan also started a podcast called Bang On with Myf Warhurst in March 2017. This podcast took a break in November 2024.
