Imratul Najwa binti Abdul Latif (born May 23, 1995), known as Najwa Latif, is a Malaysian singer and songwriter. She also teaches at a university.
Najwa became famous after her first song, "Cinta Muka Buku" (which means "Facebook Love"), became very popular.

Najwa's Music Journey
Starting with Guitar and YouTube
Najwa started learning to play the guitar in 2009 when she was 14 years old. She loved making music. Soon after, she began writing songs with her sister, Ika, who wrote the words.
In September 2010, Najwa started sharing her music on YouTube. Her first video was a cover of Justin Bieber's song "Baby".
First Hit Song: "Cinta Muka Buku"
In March 2011, Najwa signed with NAR Records. Her first official song, "Cinta Muka Buku", came out in June 2011. She had already put a preview video of the song on YouTube.
This song was very special to Najwa. It was her first step into the music world in Malaysia. It also helped her achieve her dream of becoming a singer. The official music video for "Cinta Muka Buku" got over six million views in just six months. It became the most-watched music video in Malaysia at that time. Najwa often writes and creates songs with her oldest sister, Syafiqa Latif.
Special Performances and Campaigns
In March 2013, a famous Chinese singer named Wang Leehom invited Najwa Latif to sing with him. She was a special guest at his concert in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. They sang a song called "All the Things You Don't Know".
Later in 2013, Najwa became an ambassador for a charity campaign by Colgate. This campaign helped raise money for 15 orphanages in Malaysia.
In November 2016, Najwa was nominated for the Potential Young Composer Award. This was at the MACP (Music Authors Copyright Protection) awards show.
New Songs and Teaching
Najwa has continued to release new music. On March 22, 2018, she released a song called Jauh. On July 31, 2019, she released another song and music video called KLIA. This stands for Kau Lupa Itu Aku, which means "You Forgot That Was Me".
On June 19, 2020, Najwa released her song Tak Kisah Pun (It Doesn't Matter). She featured Akwa Arifin on this song, and it was released on her official YouTube channel.
Besides singing, Najwa also works as a lecturer at UNITAR International University. This is the same university where she studied.
Najwa's Life and Studies
Family and Early Life
Najwa Latif was born in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. She is the third of four children in her family. Everyone in her family loves music and is talented in it.
School and University Achievements
Najwa was also a very good student. When she was 15, she scored well in her Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) exams. She went to secondary school in Batu Pahat. She also did well in her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams.
She graduated from UNITAR International University in 2017. She studied English and focused on teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). In 2019, she completed her Master's degree in Teaching English Education as a Second Language (TESL) at University of Malaya (UM).
Currently, Najwa works as an English lecturer at UNITAR International University. She is also studying for her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Najwa Latif has been recognized for her talent in music. She has been nominated for and won several awards.
- In 2012, her song "Cinta Muka Buku" was a finalist at the 26th Anugerah Juara Lagu awards.
- She was nominated for many awards at the 25th Bintang Popular Berita Harian Awards, including Most Popular Female Singer and Most Popular Female New Artist.
- In 2013, she won awards at the Anugerah Planet Muzik for her collaboration with SleeQ & Syamkamarul and for Most Popular Singapore Song. She was also nominated for many other awards that year.
