Naoki Naito (born May 30, 1968) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender during his career.

Naoki Naito's Football Journey
Naoki Naito began his professional football career in 1991. After finishing his studies at Chuo University, he joined the Hitachi team. He quickly became an important defender for them, playing in many matches during his first season.
Playing for Shimizu S-Pulse
In 1992, Naoki Naito moved to Shimizu S-Pulse. This team was based in his home area of Shizuoka. He was a regular player for Shimizu S-Pulse. His team did very well, finishing second in the J.League Cup in both 1992 and 1993. He played for Shimizu S-Pulse until 1995.
Later Career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Vissel Kobe
In 1996, Naoki Naito joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He continued to be a key player for this team. During his time there, the club reached the final of the Emperor's Cup in 1996, finishing in second place.
The next year, in 1997, he moved to Vissel Kobe. This club had just been promoted to the top Japanese league, the J1 League. However, Naoki Naito did not get to play as much as he had in previous teams. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 1998 season.
