Nasrin Soltankhah (Persian: نسرین سلطانخواه) is an Iranian politician. She served as a Vice President under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Her term was from 2009 to 2013.

Education and Learning
Nasrin Soltankhah studied Mathematics at Sharif University of Technology. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1976. Later, she received her Master of Science degree in 1978. She completed her PhD in Mathematics in 1994.
Public Service Career
Nasrin Soltankhah has held several important roles in the Iranian government. She worked to improve different areas of public life.
Cabinet Role in Iran
On September 25, 2005, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad chose Nasrin Soltankhah for a position in his Cabinet. She also led Iran's National Elites Foundation. This foundation helps support talented people in Iran.
Work for Women and Families
Soltankhah was also the head of the Center for Women and Family Affairs. This center focuses on issues important to women. She also advised the President on women's matters.
She highlighted three main goals for women's policies. First, to respect the human dignity of all women. Second, to use women's skills in leadership roles. Third, to emphasize women's key role within families. The center also worked to create jobs for women. It helped direct their abilities into social and cultural fields.
