Eurovision 2007

On December 14, 2006, Natalia was chosen to represent Moldova. She sang her song "Fight" at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. She performed well in the semi-final on May 10, 2007. She then made it to the grand final on May 12, 2007. In the final, she finished in 10th place. She earned 109 points for Moldova.

New Music and Collaborations

In 2012, Natalia started working with new musical partners. She teamed up with producer Radu Sirbu and songwriter Ana Sirbu. They worked together under the label Rassada Music. That summer, Natalia released a new song called "I Said It's Sad". She said this song showed a big change in her music style. "I Said It's Sad" quickly became number one on the Top 10 Airplay Moldova chart. Later in 2012, she released more songs. These included "Iubire Cu Aroma De Cafea" and "Confession". "Confession" was even considered for the Romanian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

Eurovision 2024

Natalia Barbu decided to try for Eurovision again in 2024. She entered Etapa națională 2024, which is Moldova's national competition to choose their Eurovision entry. Her song was "In the Middle". On January 13, 2024, she came first in the audition round. This meant she qualified for the final. In the final, she was chosen to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. At the contest, Natalia performed in the first semi-final on May 7, 2024. Unfortunately, she did not qualify for the grand final. She placed 13th out of 15 acts, with 20 points.

In 2011, Natalia Barbu got married. Her husband is a businessman from Romania. They live together in Romania. Natalia and her husband have two children.
