The National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) is a public university in Changhua City, Changhua County, Taiwan. It is known as a "normal university" because it specializes in training future teachers. However, it also offers many other exciting subjects for students to learn.

A Look Back in Time

NCUE has a long and interesting history. It first started way back in 1745 as something called Baisha Academy. This was a place for learning many years ago.

Later, in August 1971, it became the Taiwan Provincial College of Education. It changed its name again in 1980 to the National Taiwan College of Education. Finally, in August 1989, it got its current name: the National Changhua University of Education.

What You Can Study

At NCUE, students can choose from many different study programs. These programs are available for both undergraduate (first degree) and graduate (advanced degree) students.

You can study subjects like education, liberal arts (things like history and literature), science, engineering, and management. The university also has a special center that trains and certifies people who want to become teachers.

University Campuses

NCUE has two main campuses. They are called Jin-De and Bao-Shan. Both campuses are located in Changhua.
