Guthrie's Historic Buildings

  • Scottish Rite Temple: This grand building at 900 East Oklahoma is a meeting place for a group called the Scottish Rite. It's known for its impressive architecture and was listed in 1987.

  • Angie Debo House: In Marshall, at 200 Oklahoma Avenue, is the home of Angie Debo. She was a famous historian who wrote many books about Oklahoma and Native American history. Her house was listed in 1996.
  • Methodist Church of Marshall: This church, located off State Highway 74 in Marshall, has been a part of the community for a long time. It was added to the register in 1984.
  • Langston University Cottage Row Historic District: At Langston, on the southwestern part of the Langston University campus, is a historic district with several cottages.   • Morris House: Also in Langston, at 221 Tolson Boulevard, is the Morris House. It was added to the register in 1994.
  • Mulhall United Methodist Church: In Mulhall, at Bryant and Craig Streets, stands the Mulhall United Methodist Church. It became a historic site in 1984.
  • Oklahoma State Bank Building: Also in Mulhall, at Baty and Main Streets, is the old Oklahoma State Bank Building. It was listed in 1984.
