Welcome to a list of amazing historic places in Tarrant County, Texas! These special spots are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means they are important buildings, areas, or sites that tell us about the past of Tarrant County and the United States.

The National Register of Historic Places is like a special club for places that are worth saving and learning about. When a place is added to this list, it helps protect it and makes sure future generations can enjoy its history. In Tarrant County, there are 23 historic areas (called "districts") and 90 individual buildings or sites on this list. Some of these places are also recognized by Texas as "State Antiquities Landmarks" or "Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks," which means they are extra special to the state's history.
