Navarino is a small town located in Shawano County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 177 people lived there. The U.S. Census Bureau also calls Navarino a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's a special area used for counting people and collecting statistics.

The town of Navarino was not always known by this name. It used to be called Mayville. On December 1, 1874, its name was officially changed to Navarino.
It is believed that the town was named after an important historical event: the Battle of Navarino. This battle took place on October 20, 1827. It was a naval battle fought between the Ottoman Empire and a combined navy from Britain, Russia, and France.
