Nebojša Glogovac (born August 30, 1969 – died February 9, 2018) was a famous Serbian actor. He won many awards for his work in theater, television, and films. People often called him "Glogi."
He started acting when he was a child in the Children's Drama Group. He also appeared in the TV show Price iz Nepricave (Stories from Nepricava) in 1981. His first film role was in 1993 in a short film called Rekvijem za jedan san (Requiem for a Dream). Nebojša Glogovac became well-known for his amazing talent.
He starred in many popular films like Premeditated Murder, Cabaret Balkan, Sky Hook, and The Constitution. He received important awards such as the Sterija Award and the Golden Arena. Nebojša Glogovac passed away in 2018 after a short illness.

Early Life and Education
Nebojša Glogovac was born on August 30, 1969, in Trebinje, which is now in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His parents were Milovan and Milena Glogovac. He was proud to say he was from Herzegovina. In 1974, his family moved to Opovo, and then to Pančevo a year later. His father became a priest there.
Nebojša spent his early childhood playing in Trebinje. When he was a child, he dreamed of becoming a policeman. This was because of a policeman named Jovan Bulj, who was his first hero.
During primary school, he also attended music school. He studied the clarinet. After primary school, he went to a technical school. Later, he transferred to the Uroš Predić Gymnasium in Pančevo. He decided to study natural sciences after his third year there.
Becoming an Actor
After high school, Nebojša first studied psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. But after two years, he changed his mind. In 1990, he decided to study acting. He joined the Belgrade Faculty of Dramatic Arts. His teacher was Professor Vladimir Jevtović.
He studied with other actors who also became famous. These included Nataša Ninković, Vojin Ćetković, and Sergej Trifunović. While he was still a student, he had a small role in the TV series Bolji život (1987).
From 1985, while in high school and later at university, Nebojša was part of the Youth Studio in Pančevo. He stayed there until 1990. Soon after, he joined the Yugoslavian Drama Theater. His first professional role was in 1990 in a play called Živela sloboda.

He was a member of the Association for Galloping Sport of Serbia. He also belonged to the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia. He was a big fan of the Crvena zvezda football club. He even helped start a film production company called Eye to Eye. Their first film was Hadersfild.
Nebojša Glogovac was also involved in many good causes. He acted in plays to raise money for children. He also donated money to help restore churches and monasteries. He often helped his fellow actors financially.
In 2009, he appeared in a commercial to help fight breast cancer. The next year, he cut a lock of his hair. This was a sign of support for children with cancer. He also took part in campaigns for UNICEF. He helped promote the "Cherish Serbian language" campaign.

Death
Nebojša Glogovac passed away on February 9, 2018, in Belgrade. He was 48 years old. He had been battling lung cancer for a short time. He is remembered as one of Serbia's greatest actors. He left behind his second wife and three children.
