Necar Zadegan (born June 20, 1982) is an actress who was born in Germany.
In 2011, Necar made her first appearance on Broadway, a famous theater stage in New York City. She acted alongside the well-known actor Robin Williams in a play called Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. Many people know her from the TV show 24, where she played Dalia Hassan. Her character started as the First Lady and later became the President. She also had important roles as Delia Banai in Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce and as Special Agent Hannah Khoury in NCIS: New Orleans.

Growing Up
Necar Zadegan was born on June 20, 1982, in Heidelberg, West Germany. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States. Her family background is Iranian.
Necar went to the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She earned a degree in Literature with high honors. She also spent time studying in Paris, France, at the Sorbonne University. Necar is very good with languages. She can speak Persian, French, English, and German fluently.
Acting Career
Necar Zadegan started her acting career in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, she appeared in many TV shows. Some of these shows include The Bernie Mac Show, Nip/Tuck, NCIS, and How I Met Your Mother. She also had roles in Lost, The Shield, and CSI: Miami.
In 2009, Necar acted in a play called From Satellite with Love. This play was performed in Persian and toured in the U.S. and Europe.

Also in 2009, Necar played a character called 'The Leper' in a play. This play, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, later moved to Broadway in 2011. In the same year, she became well-known for her role as Dalia Hassan in the TV series 24. Her character was the First Lady who later became the President.
Necar also starred in the 2010 movie Elena Undone. She played the main character, Elena Winters. That same year, she appeared in the movie Unthinkable. In this film, she acted alongside famous actors like Michael Sheen and Samuel L. Jackson.

Necar returned to television in The Event, playing a character named Isabel. In 2012, she took on a regular role as Dr. Gina Bandari in the series Emily Owens M.D.. She then played Scarlet Leon in the American comedy Rake in 2014.
Later in 2014, she joined the cast of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She played Delia Banai in this show, which was Bravo's first scripted series. The show was very popular and ran for five seasons, ending in 2018.
In 2015, Necar continued to appear in other TV series. These included Extant and Legends.
In October 2018, Necar joined the cast of NCIS: New Orleans. She played Special Agent Hannah Khoury, a senior agent in the NCIS office.
