Necar Zadegan (born June 20, 1982) is an American actress known for her roles in popular television shows and on stage. She is famous for playing First Lady Dalia Hassan in the action series 24.
Zadegan also starred as Delia Banai in Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce and as Special Agent Hannah Khoury in NCIS: New Orleans. In 2011, she performed on Broadway with the famous actor Robin Williams. Their play, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, was nominated for a special award called the Pulitzer Prize.

Early Life and Education
Necar Zadegan was born in Heidelberg, West Germany, but she grew up near San Francisco, California. Her family is from Iran, and she is proud of her Iranian heritage.
She was a great student and graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where she studied literature. She also studied for a semester in Paris at the famous Sorbonne University. Zadegan is multilingual and can speak English, Persian, French, and German.
Acting Career
Zadegan began her career in 2005 with small parts in many popular TV shows. These included The Bernie Mac Show, Nip/Tuck, How I Met Your Mother, and CSI: Miami.
Breakthrough Roles
In 2010, Zadegan's career took off when she joined the cast of the hit show 24. She played the important role of Dalia Hassan, the First Lady who later becomes president. This role made her well-known to audiences around the world.
The same year, she starred in the movie Elena Undone and appeared in the thriller Unthinkable with actors Michael Sheen and Samuel L. Jackson.
Television Stardom
After her success on 24, Zadegan continued to star in major TV shows. She played a main character, Dr. Gina Bandari, in the medical drama Emily Owens, M.D..
From 2014 to 2018, she was one of the main stars of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She played a smart and successful lawyer named Delia Banai. The show was very popular and ran for five seasons.
In 2018, Zadegan joined the cast of NCIS: New Orleans. She played Special Agent Hannah Khoury, who became the leader of the NCIS team. She was a main character on the show until it ended in 2021.
