Early Roles and Training

Neil McDermott has appeared in many TV shows and films. He was in an episode of Doctor Who called "The Next Doctor" in 2008. He also acted in shows like Casualty and Rosemary and Thyme. Neil was also in movies such as Goal! and Blooded.

Neil also takes part in charity events. In September 2011, he ran the Great North Run. This is a famous half-marathon race. He ran it with fellow actress Charlie Brooks to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This charity helps people with serious illnesses.
