Nerang National Park is a special natural area in Queensland, Australia. It's often called Nerang State Forest. This park is found on the beautiful Gold Coast.

You can find the park about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Surfers Paradise. It's on the north-west edge of the town of Nerang. People love Nerang National Park for its amazing birds, fun trails, and great views. It's a super popular spot for mountain biking, walking, and watching birds.

What is Nerang National Park Like?

Nerang National Park is a big open forest. It's home to many different animals, both native and those brought from other places. The land in the park is about 100 m above sea level. It's also only about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) away from the Pacific Ocean.

The park is mostly made up of small to large hills. Two creeks, Coombabah Creek and Saltwater Creek, flow through the park. The soil here is mostly clay and limestone. But near the rivers and in rich areas, the soil is softer and more airy.
