Nevado Tres Cruces facts for kids
Nevado Tres Cruces is a massif in the Andes range, in Argentina and Chile. It has two peaks. One is Trace Cruces Sur at 6,748 metres (22,139 ft), which is the 6th highest mountain in the Andes. The other is Tres Cruces Centro at 6,629 metres (21,749 ft).
Nevado Tres Cruces is a volcano, but has not been active for a long time.
The first people to reach the top of the highest peak (Trace Cruces Sur) were Stefan Osiecki and Witold Paryski, in 1937
