Grand Chain is a small village located in Pulaski County, Illinois, United States. In 2020, about 150 people lived there. Even though its official name changed to "New Grand Chain" in the 1970s, most people who live there still call it "Grand Chain."

- George W. Bristow was born in Grand Chain. He became a very important judge, serving as the Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court.
- Laura Jacinta Rittenhouse (1841–1911) was also from Grand Chain. She was known for her work in the temperance movement, which aimed to reduce alcohol use. She was also an author, poet, and managed an orphanage.
